Jimmy O'Hara - Writer

Jimmy O’Hara is a queer writer, screenwriter, actor, and horror buff  from Chicago, Illinois. A 2020 graduate of Loyola University Chicago with a degree in Theater and a minor in Creative Writing, Jimmy’s career has become bicoastal between Chicago and Los Angeles, working part time in the film/entertainment industry while simultaneously dabbling with freelance writing in his spare time. As of 2023, Jimmy is the sole creator/writer/publisher of his very own horror blog, AfterDark. Available on both Substack AND Medium (@afterdarkblog), here, Jimmy writes personally about all his favorite scary media, scary pop culture, and even his own SCARY life…after dark! Jimmy hopes to (eventually) expand AfterDark into a multimedia entertainment platform and production company, produce and direct his original slasher screenplay, and maybe even star in a horror film!
